Lesson 17

Interplanetary acquaintance: my country through the eyes of a space guest
Lesson 17

Lesson 17 invites students on a creative journey, imagining a meeting with a being from another planet. Through imaginative play, children reflect on how to describe themselves, their home, and their country to someone who knows nothing about them. Visual imagery, associations, philosophical questions, and creative tasks help gently explore themes of identity, culture, language, and belonging. During the lesson, students learn to articulate their personal vision of Ukraine, paying attention to symbols, sounds, memories, and habits that make their country uniquely “theirs.” They imagine, compare, and ask themselves: how does Ukraine look from the outside, and what would we like to show the world about it?
